I know I sure can’t! But aren’t those just some pretty little feet up there? I don’t know about you but with a husband, four kids, and a dog, I rarely see pedicures, if ever! When I do get one it’s my lovely husband who gives it to me. I love that man!
But you know what? He makes fun of my feet too when they aren’t all prettied up. You know, he’ll ask me to please stop shredding up the sheets and things like that. Go ahead and laugh. Ya’ll know The Glamorous WAHM keeps it real!
But it’s all good because I have found something cheap (cheaper than a pedicure honey) that will make my feet as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Well maybe not that smooth but hey the sheets will appreciate it. :o)

Hand & Foot Canasta is new card game from Marina Games. I had never heard of this game before but when presented the opportunity to review it, I couldn’t pass it up. I’m always looking for new things to incorporate into family time.
The game includes 4 decks of cards that have been created with point values on them for easy learning and playing. However, we were a bit confused at first but it just added to the fun. After laughing at each other, trying to figure it out, we were able to get down to business and the competition was on!

Oh my goodness! These are some of the cutest, most comfortable little shoes I’ve ever seen! I’ve never been one for themed shoes for my boys but when I received the opportunity to review these innovative little shoes, I could not pass it up. My three year old has worn his Gator Polliwalks every day sinse we received them. The colors are vibrant and you could almost mistake them for a toy.
The current Polliwalks line features colorful sculpted animal shaped shoes in the likenesses of a duck, a gator, a frog, a Ladybug, a puppy, a kitty, and a pinguin. One of the features that I love about these shoes is how easy it is for my toddler to put them on by himself. He likes the independence and I love the convenience. My son’s favorite gator!

Unsung heroes…Salvation Army bell ringers.
Dear God, last week the family and I went to Walmart to do some grocery shopping and I noticed the lady out front ringing the Salvation Army bell. It was bitterly cold but she had a big smile on her face. She had headphones on and danced back and forth to the music in her ear as she rang the bell.
I thought to myself, “I wonder what her story is? How did she come to ring the bell for the Salvation Army?” And then I had a divine idea that I know came from you. Thank you that my 14 year old is working for MTV and was sent a Flip camera to do her job. My idea is, to go around to different stores and interview the person standing outside ringing the bell and get “their story.” But what I really need you to help me with is this, I would like to get the store that the bell ringer is standing in front of, to sponsor a $50 to $100 gift card for the bell ringer that I interview. When I’m done with the interview, I want to be able to hand the bell ringer a Christmas card with the gift card inside. This will be my way of saying thank you for sharing their story.
God I pray that this idea catches like wild fire and people all over the United States will implement the same idea. These unsung heroes stand in the bitter cold ringing a bell for hours for minimum wage. I imagine that many of them probably can’t afford to even shop in the store they are standing in front of. I bet many of them are war veterans like myself. God my heart goes out to them and I really need you to help me pull this off. I look forward to working on this project with you. Let’s have fun!

My children have all been long with narrow waists. So, when I buy pants I have to go up a size to accomodate length. The unfortunate thing is that the waist is always huge so, I have to resort to putting safety pins in the waist to hold them up.
